The Velo Apartment building is located on Capitol Hill which historically has some of the highest rents and lowest vacancies of the Puget Sound region. In addition to being close to entertainment, shopping and employment, tenants can leave the garage and bicycle to three universities or be downtown at work in five minutes. Across I-5, Paul Allen’s development company Vulcan is providing office space for thousands of new jobs including the new headquarters for Amazon books, Group Health Cooperative and other biotech firms. The Velo was built in 1967 and consists of 49 apartment units with nearly one to one parking. There are laundry facilities on the lower level with storage lockers. All the units on the south and west sides of the building have spectacular views over Lake Union.
