Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition at the Market: December 2nd

This year the Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition will be hosted under the iconic Public Market Center Clock & Sign. The event is a fundraiser for the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank, and is expected to attract around 10,000 people, so everyone is invited! In addition to listening to carolers, feel free to shop the market for holiday gifts, enjoy a seasonal drink, and see the enchantment of the market after dark.

Weekend Brunch Cruise: December 3rd, 4th, & 18th

Enjoy your weekend brunch on the water with Waterway Cruises & Events. Their weekend brunch cruise is a lavish affair with spectacular views of Seattle. Consisting of a 2-hour cruise around Lake Union and Lake Washington, kick back and relax at your own private table. Jingle Bell Run: December 11th

Get your jingle bells ready and dress up in your favorite holiday attire for the Jingle Bell Run at Green Lake Aqua Center. This event is hosted by the Arthritis Foundation. Furthermore, you can make a donation to help raise arthritis awareness, support research for better treatments, and find a cure.

Holiday Jazz: December 11th

If you love jazz and holiday music, you will surely enjoy Jose Gonzales Trio’s rendition of Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. The entire eleven song LP will be played live by the trio at Cornish Playhouse in the Seattle Center. Luckily, there are two show times. The Matinee begins at 1pm, and there’s a cocktail hour beginning at 6pm for the Main Event, which starts 7pm. General Admission tickets start at $24 for a matinee and $39 for the main event.

Seattle Boat Parade: December 17th

Take part in a time-honored holiday tradition at the Seattle Christmas Boat Parade. Be an active participant with your boat in the parade on Lake Union, or be a spectator from the shore in this holiday boating for a cause. A toy drive is held supporting Seattle Children’s Hospital. The parade starts at 7pm, you won’t want to miss the uniquely dazzling display of lights on the water.

Arboretum Winter Solstice Walk: December 17th & 18th
Whatever holiday traditions you follow, all are welcome to the Arboretum Winter Solstice Walk. Join in taking a stroll through a luminated pathway in the Washington Park Arboretum at night. There will also be an opportunity to create your own holiday swag. December 17th is 21+ and comes with a complimentary glass of champagne with the ticket. December 18th is for all ages. Tickets start at $20.

New Year's Eve at Seattle Center: December 31st
Without a doubt, the place to be on New Year’s Eve is most definitely the Seattle Center. The campus grounds will be alight with excitement and activities for all. The fun is set to start at 8pm with a band playing at the Armory Stage. Stay throughout the night to participate in a fountain of light dance party. The finale starts at midnight with an awe-inspiring fireworks display. Moreover, be sure to check out events happening at surrounding Seattle Center venues.
