- Georgetown Morgue Haunted House – The Georgetown Morgue of Seattle is quite possibly the most famous haunted house in Seattle and has a terrifying history. That is to say the morgue holds what is considered to be one of the most horrifying unsolved crimes in Seattle past. Nine of their staff were forced into the crematorium chamber. There were no surviving witnesses, nor were suspects ever identified. Can you survive Washington State’s most terrifying haunted house?
- Witches Tea and Zombie Soiree at the Sorrento Hotel – This Italian styled hotel opened in 1909 and is considered to be the most haunted hotel in Seattle and Washington! The ghost of Alice B. Toklas can be seen in the hotel wandering the halls, especially around room 408. It is said that she dresses in all white or black and has cursed the lights which causes them to flicker.
- Dia de Muertos at Seattle Center – The celebration of the day of the dead at the Armory in Seattle Center. Offerings of performances, elaborate altars, colorful face-painting, sugar skull workshops, visual art, and more! It is a free event to the public. Dia de Muertos is a celebration which dates back prior to the arrival of the Spaniards in the Americas. Historians say it could be as old as 2,000 years old, among different civilizations from Aztecs to Toltec.

Kell’s Irish Restaurant has been called the most haunted bar in America. They even wipe down their tables each night with a drop of holy water as an old Irish pub tradition. They also have a truly sustainable Irish farm-to-table menu. The old Butterworth Building used to be a mortuary and Kell’s pub is in the basement, which the bar’s owner says was once the embalming room.
The Pike Place market’s is a destination spot with subterrain levels that are down right spooky with a turn of the century magic shop and junk stores. Clearly, it’s the perfect home for a ghost and there have been local ghost sightings around the Can Can. The surrounding neighborhood of Belltown has a few infamous haunted hotels like the Mayflower Hotel and Hotel Andrea. Most importantly it is home to the historic Moore Theatre which was literally built on top of a graveyard.
