The Emerald City Comic Con is scheduled to take place at the Seattle Convention Center from February 29th to March 3rd, 2024. Tickets can be purchased both online and in person at the venue, which is located at 705 Pike Street in the Arch building. Please bring your confirmation QR code to collect your badges and access the event. With a diverse lineup of guests ranging from anime voice actors to well-known personalities, attendees will have the opportunity to obtain autographs and participate in photo ops. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to express their creativity by dressing up in costumes to enhance the experience of the convention.

Hot - Air Balloons: March 1st - 3rd

Experience the breathtaking Winthrop Balloon Roundup, where dozens of hot-air balloons inflate and launch each morning from 7 to 9 a.m. at Methow Valley Thriftway. The event provides stunning views as balloons fly over Winthrop’s old western town and the snow-capped North Cascades, offering a photographer’s dream scenery. While the event occurs over three days, the balloon launches are subject to weather conditions, so plan accordingly and check for updates. Please remember, no pets or smoking are allowed. For those seeking an immersive experience, commercial hot air balloon rides are available for booking with Seattle Ballooning, Snohomish Ballooning, or Balloon Depot, ranging from $350 to $400.

St. Patrick's Parade: March 16th

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade features Irish bands, pipers, dancers, and marchers heading north from Jefferson Street to Westlake Park. Prior to the parade there will be a St. Patrick’s Day Mass at 10:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 7916 1st Ave NW, Seattle. The parade kicks off at 12:30 PM from Jefferson Street & 4th Avenue. From 12 PM to 6 PM the Irish Festival Seattle takes place at the Seattle Center’s Armory Building. Conclude the festivities with the St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Event at Glenn Acres Country Club. To participate, individuals can register via the Parade Registration Form or by email.

Magnuson Park invites you to join their Easter-themed 2.5k and 5k run/walk event, Bubbles & Bunnies, perfect for families. This event takes place at the tennis courts at Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE in Seattle. Adults with drink tickets can enjoy the morning at beer/mimosa garden. For kids 10 and under, there is an Easter egg hunt, a bunny petting station, and a bouncy house. The family-friendly atmosphere ensures a hassle-free visit with available parking for attendees.
