Summer is finally here! There are many exciting outdoor activities to do in the Pacific Northwest with the return of the sun. Here’s our list of 5 things to do this July in Seattle.

Amazon Seafair Summer Fourth - July 4th

Amazon Seafair Summer FourthSummer Fourth Seafair is one of the best ways to spend the Fourth of July in the PNW. Enjoy a dazzling display of choreographed fireworks from three different vantage points: Gas Works ParkLake Union Park, and Lake Union. Gates open at 3PM, try to arrive early if you want to snag a location with a birds eye view. Fireworks begin at 10:15PM, but there are plenty of activities to do before. There will be live music, a vendor marketplace, beer garden, and more!

Aren’t able to make it out in person to watch the show? Be sure to tune into KONG TV and watch all the live entertainment starting at 9PM.

Parties in the Park - June 9th - August 30th

Parties in the ParkFREE, family-friendly, Parties in the Park will be held every Tuesday at Occidental Square and every Thursday at Westlake Park. Hours are from 11AM-3PM, and 4PM-7PM. Join in the fun filled games, live music, rotating food trucks, plus giveaways.

 

Happy Hour starts at 4PM! Refresh yourself with bar service provided by Party on the Rocks.

Lavender Festival in Sequim - July 15th - 17th

Sequim Lavender FestivalSearching for an activity outside the city? Travel to Clallam County and enjoy a tranquil escape for the Sequim Lavender Festival. Celebrating it’s 26th year, there are plenty of activities and attractions to entertain and delight. Choose one of many farms for your lavender picking and attend the “Street Fair” at Carrie Blake Park.  Cool off with some tasty and aromatic lavender ice cream.

Brew Review UW Beer Tasting - July 20th

Beer TastingA Washington State non-profit fundraiser, Brew Review offers a variety of beer, cider, and wine for tasting, plus food! Ages 21+, located on the lawn at University of Washington School of Law 4293 Memorial Way NE in Seattle. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Hours from 5PM-8PM. Come help support small business, breweries, and local artists by attending or donating here.
